I started singing after taking an evening course called 'Can't sing, want to sing', and discovering that I COULD sing! First stop was as a Baritone in a ladies' barbershop chorus in Winchester, which I loved. I left the chorus when I moved to Japan for a year or so, where I kept my hand in at our weekly karaoke outings (see photo). When I came back from Japan I moved to Wales, where I wanted to join a different type of choir, but one that was contemporary rather than traditional, and New Harmony fit that bill.
